The Visitor Training Program is a formalized training program designed and managed by Ostomy Canada, where individuals are trained to visit people who have had or about to have ostomy surgery. A certified visitor, must be a member of an ostomy Chapter or Peer Support Group, recommended you have lived with an ostomy for a minimum of a year, and connected to a Visitor Coordinator. You are also encouraged to become a supporter of Ostomy Canada Society.
